Trial began on September 19, 2022, in Catmull v. Redmond, Hon. Su Chon # 190901835.
This case arises out of a Salt Lake County motor vehicle accident where the plaintiff was rear-ended on the I-15 off-ramp at 9000 South. It is alleged that the defendant driver was under the influence at the time of the accident.
Defendant conceded liability.
Defendant filed a Utah Rule of Civil Procedure 68 Offer of Settlement in the amount of $32,723.28.
Plaintiff filed a Utah Rule of Civil Procedure 68 Offer of Settlement for the liability policy limit of $50,000.
The only issue for the jury to determine is the amount of general damages.
