This evening the jury returned a verdict for the defense in the medical malpractice claim of Harward v. Reynolds, #170401397, Fourth Judicial District Court for Utah County, Provo Division (Hon. Kraig Powell). See my earlier blog post for further details on the case.
The jury was out for about an hour, and the verdict was unanimous- no departure from the standard of care by Dr. Reynolds.

Note- I don’t name counsel for the losing side in my verdict reports. It smacks of kicking someone when they’re down. Anyone who tries cases is going to lose some, and I see no need to rub it in.
